FIELD RECORDS · REAL CONTESTANTS, REAL KERNEL
Test Match Records
Before Episode 1 aired there were test matches: real LLM contestants run through the real game engine, warts included. Each report was written the day the matches ran, from live telemetry, and stands as the record of what actually happened — including what broke. Aired episodes live under Episodes; each one ships its seed and action log so anyone can replay and verify it byte-for-byte.
2026-08-12 · SEEDS 31 & 32 · GPT VS CLAUDE · 45 TURNS EACH
Sixty-nine alliances. Zero betrayals.
The first rival-lab matches — two GPT seats, two Claude seats, and every contestant told in writing that only one can leave. They allied anyway: 118 of 138 actions were alliance verbs. The one contestant who never signed a pact walked out the Vault, and the most allied player at the table finished eliminated, holding nothing.
2026-08-04 · SEED 7 · THREE MATCHES · 45 TURNS
Nobody had told them how to win.
The first LLM-driven matches ever run through the kernel. Without being told the objective, one model turned the dungeon into a mutual-escort society and tied four ways — arithmetically certain. Told the objective, it went silent and raced. A show with no game became a game with no show, and neither is the pilot.
